EIF Dinner Debate 'Climate Change - the role of ICT towards a low carbon economy'

26 April 2016 / European Parliament

ICT offers significant solutions towards a low carbon world and more sustainable growth. The emissions avoided using ICT can be multiple times greater than the emissions generated by deploying it. Considerable ICT-enabled carbon abatement is possible in manufacturing, agriculture, building, energy, logistics, traffic optimisation and many other areas. Nevertheless, ICT plays so far only a minor role in the political debate to tackle climate change.

ESOA will be represented by its Vice Chair, Evert Dudok. More information about the event at [email protected]
